A.H. Pazoki is an educator and a practicing architect. As an educator, he taught art, graphic design, and architecture at various art schools and

Universities in Iran. As an Architect, he had explored the concept of plasticity in architecture through organic forms to render the inherent geometrical shapes inspired by nature’s fluid forms.

A.H. Pazoki’s formative years are rooted in a mountain farming village north of Teheran. Within Teheran’s landscape, Pazoki nurtured the value of education and family heritage. Pazoki watched his grandfather cultivate the fertile land with fortitude and rudimentary tools as a child. Through observation of nature and participation within the family tradition, Pazoki was exposed to nature’s beauty and complexities.

“Nature is our first teacher.” A.H. Pazoki believes.

Within Pazoki’s work, awe-inspiring nature is artistically reduced to its basic form and metaphorically transformed into a new entity. Pazoki wistfully creates imaginative compositions that nostalgically unify the present with a mythical reflection of time and his history. Growing up in a region of a rich oral tradition, storytelling captured his affection for narrative. Like most children, Pazoki registered what he saw or heard around him. His mind creates a world where reality and imagination cohabit as equal partners.
